Hi, I’m Crystal.

Born and raised in Hamilton, New Zealand, I moved to Brisbane, Australia to finish my schooling. I studied Bachelor of Design major in Visual Communication at QCAD, and have worked in Design and Marketing for the past 8 years.

I have extensive experience in a variety of events, from music concerts to community markets, involved from start to finish - building a visual concept, rolling out the marketing, and finally bring it to life through signage and styling.

Whether it’s an event, brand or print project, there’s nothing I enjoy more than creating a strong visual identity and bringing it to life.

I’m especially interested in the overlap between creative practices (such as art, cinema, photography, animation, gaming), as well as digital and analogue mediums. As our lives are increasingly spent in digital and online spaces, there has also been a renewed interest in the tangibility of the past. I’d like to be part of keeping these lost arts alive.

Beyond design, I enjoy exploring other creative hobbies including film photography, painting and calligraphy. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me on a photowalk, delicious foodie adventure, or curled up with my 2 cats for a movie marathon.
