Bringing events to life through creative direction, marketing, and signage to create an enriching experience.

Stradbroke season.

Queensland’s annual premier racing carnival with 7 weeks of racedays and social events.

From campaign creative direction, to marketing the event, and finally bringing it to life through signage and merchandise, I was involved in every step to create an experience to remember.

I have progressed from creating supporting assets in 2022 to spearheading the campaign in 2025, showcased here.

The image style and typography is consistent with the Brisbane Racing Club main brand, while having its own colour palette and graphics to differentiate from year-round visuals.

    • Digital assets for websites, EDM campaigns, social media, paid advertising, digital publications

    • Marketing collateral - flyers, magazine ads, newspaper spreads, billboards, street banners & flags, bus wraps

    • Signage - racecourse branding, backdrops, media walls, wayfinding, menus

    • Merchandise - custom pins, apparel, ties, pocket squares

    • Maintaining consistent branding across all carnival assets

    • Collaborative branding with sponsors and understanding logo requirements

    • Working with sales and marketing teams to produce marketing material based on sales trends

In addition to the overarching creative, I also designed visual identities for social functions and competitions held within the 7 weeks. These each had their own unique look, often involving collaborative branding with sponsors, while also aligning with the carnival design.

Annual music festival and raceday held at Doomben Racecourse.

In 2024, Brisbane Racing Club brought the event creative in house, where I was tasked with the rebranding project.

In line with other established music festivals, the event logo is designed to stay the same while the visual style is updated each year.

    The typography is consistent with the Brisbane Racing Club main brand, while the colour palette and graphics are vibrant and contemporary to appeal to a young adult audience.
